Are any of the low mintage coins from the Shanghai mint available without white spots? I think they ALL have that problem. I am beginning to suspect it is intentional to discourage sponsors from commissioning the Shanghai mint to make low mintage coins. Instead of saying "no", they just make the deal not so good, and hope next time the sponsors will go to Shenyang or Nanjing instead.

I'm not sure what it is. White spots are normally from residues on the coin planchet BEFORE striking, but that haze is following the grid pattern of the design, which means its origin came AFTER striking. Weird.

another new problem for this series :(. What a pity. The design of Yuan Ming Yuan is so good BUT white spot
